The 2007 grape harvest has already begun due to the early onset of Spring which anticipated this year's season of Summer.
All our calculations and expectations are of little avail when dealing with the forces of Nature. But, deep down, this is what winemaking is all about.

It was a great success for Lis Neris: more than 5.000 tastes were offered during the event. This is a new record for us. It is a confirmation of the growth of our brand and above all it proves that people likes our wines.

Dear Friends,

the maturation of Vintage 2006 is going on very well, absolutely confirming all the expectations.
One word is enough to perfectly resume the characteristics of this vintage, and this word is “balance”. Deep, complex and lasting sensations are in fact the right consequence of the balance of the elements, not just of their quantity.
The new vintage will be ready to taste from May and we can promise you some special surprises !

A New Style for “Lis Neris” Label

There’s a change in the label of the most important red wine of Lis Neris: this is the new graphic style that, starting from vintage 2003, will distinguish the wine which gave the name to the winery itself.
“This is an important decision – says the winemaker Alvaro Pecorari - which we decided to take to better distinguish our product. The new label is fresh, young and very hi-tech and it deliberately contrasts with the long maturation of this wine!”
The main features of “Lis Neris” are untouched: this is a Bordeaux blend (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) which matures for more than 24 months in oak barrels and then it has a long period of bottle ageing.

The one of telling the future is a deep need of men because it is a basic element of his auto defence and self protection approach. It is quite obvious, thus, that during the early ages of every culture people were guided by this need to believe in magical and empirical rituals.
The Oracle of the 12 Days is a nice example of this very common tradition in our region. It consists in observing the weather conditions for 12 days which represent the 12 months of the upcoming year. These days are called “mesai” and they are included between Christmas and Epiphany, even though it is possible to find different beliefs regarding the period.
