Here, over 70 hectares of vineyards stretch between the Slovenian border to the north and the right bank of the Isonzo River to the south. The sun-warmed pebbles, known locally as claps, ensure drainage and release their stored heat by night, guiding the grapes to a rich and harmonious ripening.
